J&K PDD Floats Major ₹87.18 Cr Substation Tender at Miran Sahib

The Power Development Department (PDD) of Jammu & Kashmir has issued a tender valued at ₹87.18 crore for the construction of a 220/132 kV Grid Substation (GSS) at Miran Sahib. Executed on a Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning (SITC) basis, the project includes installing 2x160 MVA power transformers, associated bays, and complete civil and electrical works to reinforce local transmission infrastructure and ensure reliable power distribution. The deadline for bid submission is November 11, 2026.
